Join us for Physician Associate Awareness Week UK 2022
We're delighted to announce the return of Physician Associate (PA) Awareness Week. This year, PA Week UK will run between 3–7 October.
PA Week is an opportunity for PAs, PA supervisors, colleagues of PAs, and PA students to come together in celebration of the profession’s achievements. The past few years have been challenging for all healthcare professionals and at the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA), we understand and are proud of how committed PAs have remained. That's why, this year, PAs deserve to be celebrated more than ever before.
This year, we’re encouraging PAs and everyone who supports them to share exactly how the profession benefits our NHS and its workforce. We already know the profession works in over 50 specialties, but we want to know exactly what benefits PAs bring. It could be that they bring a particular skill or specialist knowledge, train new PA colleagues, or create strong relationships with patients. Whatever it is, we want to hear about it during PA week!
How to get involved in the PA Week benefit campaign
- Download and print one of our brand-new PA Week campaign templates below.
- If you’re a PA or PA student, share how you benefit the workforce and ask your colleagues and employer to share how you benefit them.
- Hold your completed template and snap a selfie to share with us on Twitter. Remember to tag the FPA and use #PAWeekUK2022. You can also download one of our electronic templates if you prefer not to print or take a selfie.
- You can also share your benefits on Instagram stories as we take over the RCP account. Download our Instagram story templates below and tag the RCP Instagram account for your chance to appear.
That's not all. Every day during PA Week between 3–7 October, we will be focusing on a different theme to help showcase, guide and support PAs, PA students and the next generation of the profession.
