Faculty of Physician Associates Annual General Meeting
22 January 2021 - registrations now open
The FPA’s annual AGM will take place on Friday 22 January 2021, at 17.30 – 19.00. We are pleased to confirm that the registration page is now live. Please click here to register your attendance.
This year the decision has been taken to hold the AGM completely virtually on our RCP Player platform, so as to ensure the safety of all participants during the pandemic and allow maximum engagement. There will still be the opportunity to engage and ask questions and we would encourage you to submit any questions you may have ahead of the day. While this has not been an easy decision, we are learning as we go and we hope that you will understand the reasons for it. We believe that it will also provide learning for future AGMs which could follow a physical/virtual hybrid model, enabling more of our members across the four nations to attend and engage more easily.
Below you will find details, as known at this time, regarding communication routes for additional and updated information and the chance to raise issues or questions in advance.
Virtual AGM format
The format of the AGM this year will be a one-way video stream of addresses and updates to members accessible through the RCP Player, followed by a live Q&A session. Those wishing to attend would therefore need to have a suitable electronic device and adequate internet access. As the AGM is open to FPA members only, members will need to register ahead of the day.
Members in attendance will be able to submit written questions during the meeting, which will be put to the panel during the live Q&A portion of the meeting.
AGM advance questions and issues
Please feel free to submit any advance questions to the FPA Executive or general concerns in advance of the AGM to [email protected]. We will endeavour to answer all questions received (including those submitted on the day through virtual systems) at the AGM or post meeting should there be too many to respond to at the meeting.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the FPA Team.
