As a student member of the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA), you are part of a professional membership body that campaigns for progress and change in the profession, advises government and takes part in national debates on medical, clinical and public health issues.

Eligibility

To become a student member of the Faculty of Physician Associates you should be enrolled in an approved physician associate programme in the UK.

PA Students - How to Apply

1:  Login  or  register  for your My RCP account which gives you access to a number of the benefits listed above. You can login in by clicking on the right-hand side of the page. Once you are logged in, please click the 'Join' button to enter into the application portal.

2. Complete the online application form for FPA membership.

You will need to provide a copy of your passport or driving license/provisional driving license. If applicable your right to work in the UK access code will also need to be provided. 

Please note applications can take up two weeks to process from date of application.

Payment Options

As a new member, you can pay for your FPA membership by:

  • Direct Debit (as a one-off annual payment or monthly installments); or
  • Online card payment through your MyRCP account

You can log into your MyRCP account at anytime to update your payment method. 

FPA student members can benefit from the PA National Examination pre-payment scheme which offers the opportunity to pay towards the PA National Examination in installments. To understand if you are eligible visit here
