The Faculty of Physician Associates presidential 2022 elections
The Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA) is delighted to announce the opening of the FPA 2022 elections.
Elections are being held for the roles of FPA president and FPA vice president, role descriptions for which can be downloaded here.
We are now seeking nominations for both roles. To submit a nomination, please email [email protected] detailing how you believe the nominee meets the criteria for this role (as described in the job description). Self-nomination is also permitted.
Please note that all nominees must be a qualified member of the FPA and all nominations must be seconded by at least one other FPA physician associate (PA) member.
Nomination timeline
Nominations open – Thursday 7 April, at midnight
Nominations close – Thursday 28 April, at midnight (Please note: the deadline for nominations has been extended to Thursday 5 May, at midnight).
All seconded nominees will be invited, to submit the following election materials, which will be listed on the election website:
- an election statement of 600 words and a photograph
- a short CV detailing their professional experience
- a declaration of interests.
The elections will be conducted electronically by CIVICA on behalf of the FPA and voting will be by single transferrable vote.
Further information, including details of how to vote and the timeline for voting will be shared with all FPA members in the coming weeks. Initially, this will be via email. We, therefore, advise all members to stay up to date with their inboxes.
