PA National Certification and Recertification Assessments – changes to the application process 2022
As part of the RCP Assessment Unit’s continued commitment to enhancing the support provided to those taking the PA National Certification and Recertification assessments, we are making a number of changes to streamline the application process for the September/October assessment period, which opens for applications on Monday 27 June 2022.
The application process will still be accessed via the FPA website, but will then automatically redirect to the Orzone website, where candidates will firstly need to create an account in order to then proceed to the application process, select the assessment component(s) they wish to apply for, and provide the relevant details.
Candidates requesting reasonable adjustments are now asked to upload a completed reasonable adjustment request form and their supporting documents as part of the application process. Forms and documents should not be sent via email.
The main change to the application process will see payment of fees collected as part of the application process itself, instead of the previous system of invoicing candidates once the application period has closed. Payment will still be processed via PayPal, with candidates able to pay via credit or debit card. Candidates do not need to have a PayPal account set up in order to provide payment.
Should a candidate pay for an application to the certification examination and subsequently be declared ineligible by their university a full refund of their fee(s) will be provided.
Upon completion of your application and payment an acknowledgement email with further details regarding key dates for the assessments will be sent out to you.
If you require assistance with paying the examination fee, or your university are funding your application, please contact the RCP Assessment Unit before submitting your application for further assistance.
