The Faculty of Physician Associates is pleased to be able to offer our members an exciting opportunity! The Physician Associate (PA) Programme at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry are hosting a conference on Friday 13th July on developing a plan to advance existing research about PA’s in the United Kingdom - and we need PAs to get involved.
The purpose of the research day will be to design a research agenda on physician associates in the health care workforce in the United Kingdom and beyond.
We need at least 10 UK PAs to represent the FPA at this meeting. This will be an opportunity for to you voice your opinion about what research would be useful for advancing the profession, and to speak up based on your personal experiences as a practicing PA in the UK.
There may be opportunities for you to collaborate with others to further develop your research skills and portfolio - this will be an excellent addition to your CV.
If you would like to attend as a formal FPA representative, please send an email to Tami Ritsema at [email protected] by Friday 16 March 2018.
Please provide a one paragraph description of your interest in the conference and why you would be a good representative of the FPA, along with a CV. In order to represent the FPA in this capacity, you are required to be an FPA member and listed on the Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR).
This is a brilliant opportunity to shape the future of research on the PA profession and meet PA leaders and experienced researchers. You may meet your next collaborator or mentor at this meeting!
